This huge bill (http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h112-1505)
empowers the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to take many thousands of
acres of land across the US northern border. The bill tosses aside many of the existing
laws that protect the environment and many historic resources. This bill is being submitted for “national security”
reasons, of course. Makes me say hum….
